Trekking is… just perfectly beautiful

GMT+8 1830hrs December 16th, 2012

this is one of my masterpieces

Just got back from Skytrex Adventure Park, Bukit Cerakah Section 8 Shah Alam here today as we really made it to the top. We started from the entrance and stopping by places as we went through to snap pictures. Pictures are the moments of the yesterday when we bring it to share with others on tomorrow. Endless sweat, burning feet, grumbling stomach is just a normal things to experience for them who had just started to make way for trekking. I've been trekking since the day I started walking. So, 20 kilometers for today is nowhere near problem. I bring along my two housemates.

The Aaaa (xo-) and ooh ooh moments (-o-)

They were E-bar [left] and Phyzeek [right]. For Phyzeek, jungle trekking might not be a problem because he’s a sportsman compared to E-bar, a hardcore anime fan. We’d plan to go for camping on our next visit.

I brought them to the inhabited/abandoned cage and they find it creepy. Yeah, we don’t know what might hit us if we went in there though.

The most-famously visited place is the Animal Compound. During mid-day, families and even couples are here for lunch-break and some even came for a picnic somewhere in this Adventure Park. Meet the horse named.. The Horse.. Kuang3 (*,*)

Our first stop was at the horse. It stinks and sticky.. It was "STINKYS" with the additional "S" I guess it’s female. I don’t know. I’m just saying. But it looks like it. If you know what I mean. After then, we trek through the bushes to visit the rabbit, deer, parrot, etc before we finally hit the main road.

This place is recommendable instead of Bukit Broga [landslide could happen in no time] and for those who love trekking. The journey is less than 1 hour to make it to the Sungai Baru Dam. It’s a total of less than 6 kilometers anyway. But why did we walked 20 kilometers today? Because I wanna lose the disturbing fats and I wanna lose it NOW! Haha.. kidding! That’s when I trekked all the way from the entrance and reaching entrance again but on opposite track [as in the map, we traveled anti-clockwise from 6 to 6, on|off-road trekking path – a complete anti-clockwise turn].

After a while, we trek all the way up to the junction which separates the entrance, Kampung Idaman, Danau Perikanan and the Four-Season Temperate House. It’s a T-Junction. We went through the jungle as our shortcut to the Four-Season Temperate House. The track was very slippery before. I went there the day before December 16th and almost fell to the earth due to unbalanced fats and calories (*o*) haha.. kidding! I mean, maybe the imbalance climate change and… well, I wore my trekking shoes [which doesn’t meant to trek the cement paved-based-road coz it's an off-road and jungle path trekking shoes. This Nike trek shoes are used mostly for off-road trekking by International trekker like me. But I haven’t bought the new trekking shoes for on-road-trekking] even though I already had a Camel trekking shoes.. but it's an off-road also.. i love being surrounded by nature like jungle, water, snakes, leech, pigs [especially the Angry Birds' pig qhook qhook!]. haha kidding (n,n)

The Angry Looking Twins... whattup guys? wanna fight huh? hehe

We Are HERE!!!

It's a Paintball Vall[ey] but it seems like someone irresponsible just had it removed. I never tried Fly-Fishing before. I don't think we're "Flying" when "Fishing".. Is it? If I really calculated the track + snapping photos, it will be different. The distance as calculated by me self, it’s a total of 38 kilometers. It includes the track to Danau Perikanan, Kampung Idaman [from Perlis’ House to Perak’s House by the end of the road], back to the junction which separates the track to Four-Season Temperate House, Paintball, and the Exit.

Currently stop for refreshments...

Shortcut to Four Season Temperate House

I Love Snapping Picture of Nature than myself in it [spoil the moments]

Again we stop for "MOMENTS TOGETHER" because they are the only housemates who wanna have fun by trekking with me. The others? Sleep.. Sleep.. And Sleep... Duhh.. Sleeping is boring actually. You should go outdoor and have some fun with your buddies.

Did someone just.. FART? btw, Even though we'd trek all the way up and down, but I'm still fat.. uurrgghh!!!

Four Season Temperate House - Snow

We then experienced the "-4.6*C moment" in the house. It’s a freakin’ damn cold inside that I had my “cold” sickness treated right away. It's like living in the Antarctic with Mr. Popper's Penguins? Really? haha...Thank GOD. The rules are to be followed when each family or not more than 20 person per entry in 3 minutes but to leave after then. It’s a -4.6*c in there. Can you imagine? Let just say. We’re soaked with sweat and the second we entered, our sweat just go *PUFF!!*. Dry all over again like we’re never sweat before. We pass through the back road to get to the backyard of the Four-Season house to get to the Tower nearby.

Mr. Popper's Penguins? I don't think so (n,n)

Nostalgic

Look at the sweat. It has been drying and wet all over state, again and again that I remove and wear it whenever I feel like it. - I bet you don't look how fat I am for trekking -. It's okay anyway.. with that fats, calories and stuff, get my measure for my height. I'm a 188 cm and growing taller.. kinda not to remember actually

As we reached the second entrance in the jungle, as always, I get my camera ready and our moments are printed in .. not so printed actually. We went through a hard track and my shoes filled with mud all over, and we proceed to the tower. After using the toilet, [they don’t have the WC], we finally reached the main road and we go forth by following the signboard provided in a milestone figure for Sungai Baru Dam to our right. The 2.8 kilometers took us less than half an hour to get there. All the way up, I always stop for a couple of seconds to snap moments, short rest for refreshment and back on track again even though we "are" still on the track. Once we’d reached the top of the Sungai Baru Dam, we finally get to rest before we go to Empangan Air Kuning by jungle-trekking from the Sungai Baru Dam. Unfortunately, my camera was out of its power. So, I can snap our moment no more! But, no worries, we can always go there any time since we’d already knew the track. So, with this experience of Bukit Cerakah, and my second visit here, I will come here any time I want.

The Tower is just nearby.. you should pay a visit sometime

They even have a....  MUSEUM.... nice (n,n)

Whassup nigga? Imma gonna do nothin' if y'all just keep on starin'..

The view is just like in Japan. Trust me, it look nicer if you're here by yourself to witness this. don't have to go to Japan ma...

See? Told Ya!

On our way to the dam [on our left], we walk pass this entrance and again, we stopped for like uh.. 1000 times? Haha, just to take pictures. Like I said earlier, pictures are memories and moments saying that you were/was here on that day.

Aaarrgghhh!!! Is it a "thorny" or a "HORNY ANIMAL?" my not-so-goodness

The Culture Village

Wait For Me!!!!

If you're here, you'll see two cones been put just to stay people away from the dam. seems like chasing us out from the compound. but we are so eager to continue our journey and we ignored the cones.. haha

Look at the water...

The Jungle-Trekking Path To Empangan Air Kuning

Hell Yeah! Because we are so brave that we made it to this far... Keep It Up!

Which way?

And apparently, we took both.. haha

The entrance to Sungai Baru Dam.. LET'S GONE!!!!

Just stop for .. again, the picture as a moment we are still here.. still.. hehehe

Candid! I didn't know that Phyzeek had this moment captured.. it's nice to be a candid model as well..

The Sungai Baru Dam Is Just Ahead.. Keep It Up Boys!

If I told people this place is somewhere not from Malaysia, they will eventually trust me. But I'm not that kinda person who lied about places..

Yeay!!! The Fat-Trekker... It's Me!!! Oh My Goodness...

Like I Said.. There's only one way in and out.. Your Call

The Dam.. I Feel Like I Wanna Slide And Glide And.... Collide?

I Feel like swimming in there..

This is the jungle trekking track we took earlier to get to the Empangan Air Kuning...

And after you reached here, make sure to snap your moments.. you won't regret it anyway..

If you tend to jungle trekking in the jungle, make sure you consult with the rangers and the management office.. else, read it for yourself.. kinda creepy..

Kinda blurry...

As usual, we stop for refreshment before we make our way home...

TBNSA - see it? It stands for Taman Botani Negeri / Negara Shah Alam

Two beautiful Ah Moi going for picnic > the right ah moi is fat also.. her thigh is as big as the hippo's head (*o*)"

If.. Village is "Kampung".. Should "Villaging" be the word for Perkampungan? or menGAMPUNGkan?
I mean, if a tourist/s went here before, saw the sign and they're like "Hey guys, check this out, we finally reach the "VILLAGING CULTURE".. So, the Malay word would be "Mengampungkan Budaya?" or it's better to say this one instead "MenTERAPUNGkan Budaya".. the "FLOATING|FLOATED| FLOAT-ABLE CULTURE"? Don't you think?

On our way home, we stop for snapping some pictures here at the Cultural Village. Here we go,

Captivated by the creation of the Almighty...
